Our Simple 4-Step Process
Getting your DNA test is easier than ever. We handle everything from booking to results, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.
Step 1
Book Your Appointment
Easily schedule your mobile DNA collection online by submitting a booking request or by phone for Same-day appointments. Choose a date, time, and location in that works best for you. *NOTE: Everyone being tested and/or signing consent will receive a phone call 24 hours before your scheduled appointment as a reminder to properly prepare for the collection. *
Step 2
Certified Collector Arrives
Once the appointment request has been approved, all parties agree to testing and full payment has been received. A certified collector will travel directly to your specified location and prepare to perform the collection.
Things to bring & Remember ‼️
- Photo ID ( Must be the Original Hard Copy, NOT a photo copy) Acceptable forms include: Drivers License, Identification Card, Passport, or any other picture ID that contains a photo of the individual, date of birth and first and last name.
- Children that are participating in testing will have their picture taken by the collector as part of the requirements for all LEGAL testing.
- NO food or drink consumption 1 hour prior to the appointment. Although this is not a absolute requirement, to obtain the best sample possible and not receive inconclusive results requiring retesting please do not eat or drink (except for water) no more than 1 hour before collection time. If a young child and/ or infant is being tested we ask they are not fed breastmilk no more than 2 hours prior to collection time.
- NO extra visitors are allowed to be present during the appointment unless they are being tested themselves or are signing consent for a individual that is being tested. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- ALL individuals that are signing consent must also bring acceptable for of ID and will be included in the chain of custody form for all LEGAL testing being preformed. No exceptions.
Step 3
Quick & Discreet Sample collection
LEGAL DNA TESTING PROCEDURE
- Immediately before collection, copies of ID will be obtained.
- Next each individual will fill out and sign the consent form.
- The DNA sample collection is then preformed using sterile buccal (cheek) swabs. 2 swabs will be used for each person, 1 swab per cheek applying gentle friction on the inner cheek to scrape off cells, lasting about 20 seconds each cheek. The cheek swab is, painless, and performed with the highest level of discretion.
- Next the swabs will be placed in a envelope and sealed.
- This collection process will be completed the same way for everyone being tested.
- After collection, each sample envelope is placed into a large master envelope and sealed with tamper-proof red tape. The sample is then expedited and shipped overnight to the laboratory for testing.
NON-LEGAL DNA TESTING PROCEDURE
- There is NO ID requirement for ALL Non‒Legal DNA aka "Peace Of Mind" DNA testing.
- There is NO Chain‒Of‒Custody form to complete for Non-Legal DNA tetsing.
- The DNA sample collection is then preformed using sterile buccal (cheek) swabs. 2 swabs will be used for each person, 1 swab per cheek applying gentle friction on the inner cheek to scrape off cells, lasting about 20 seconds each cheek. The cheek swab is, painless, and performed with the highest level of discretion.
- Next the swabs will be placed in a envelope and sealed.
- This collection process will be completed the same way for everyone being tested, with only a cheek swab and NO paperwork.
- After collection, each sample envelope is placed into a large master envelope and sealed with tamper-proof tape. The sample is then expedited and shipped overnight to the laboratory for testing.
** Please understand that the only difference in the Legal and Non‒Legal DNA tests is only the Chain‒Of‒Custody. All samples will be processed the same way, using the same method, quality protocols and in a timely matter.**
Step 4
Receive Results
In 1-3 days your confidential results will be delivered securely to your selected email. We reccomned printing multiple copies of the results just incase you lose access the selected email. We will always keep a notarized copy in our records.
